As part of efforts to provide free surgery to the less privilege, Founder of Body Enhancement Foundation, Princess Modupe Ozolua is seeking supports to acquire a $800, 000 mobile medical facility.

The facility, which has two surgery theater compartments is expected to provide medical supports to victims in rural areas.

Ozolua made the appeal in Abuja, adding that since inception, the foundation has restored lives of about 11, 000 people suffering from various forms of deformity.

She said it was imperative considering population of those who could not access expensive surgeries.

Ozolua said: "The essence of acquiring this mobile surgical facility is because some of the hospitals are not well equipped to meet up with the need of the less privilege people in the country.

"We fly in medical experts from abroad to treat these victims. We have done it in Edo, we are doing it in Bayelsa next month and by January we will visit Kano. So we need supports from all the relevant stakeholders."

She emphasised partnership enjoyed with the Nigeria Custom Service (NCS), Dana Group and producers of Indomie noodles for their landmark supports.

Representative of the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Nobis Elicrus acknowledged efforts of the foundation and welcomed her gesture.

He said the foundation was most appropriate to reach people at the grass roots.

Elicrus said: "The ministry, as apex social development body in the country has accepted and ready to work with the foundation using our structures. We have a lot of poor people around us. It is the people like her that can help us achieve these goals by reaching the commonest of the people."

Dana Head of Corporate Communications, Samuel Ogbogoro said the foundation has impacted the society positively, thus restated the organisation commitment to further support the foundation.

Deputy Controller, Logistics, Nigeria Custom Service (NCS), Mr. Sani Suleiman disclosed the Comptroller General has approved partnership with the foundation.

Suleiman disclosed the Service readiness to support the foundation

"The CGS approved bag of rice, clothing, shoes and donations to be made available to the foundation.
