TAN lunches support scheme for IDPs


As the nation celebrates the yuletide, the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) has disclosed plans to commence nationwide peace, unity and humanitarian outreach to support the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

The group said it will extend succor to victims of communal clashes, sectarian and political violence, terrorism as well as insurgency.


In a statement signed by head of Media and Publicity, Christian Udechukwu in Abuja, the gesture would include reaching out to military hospitals to boost the morale of the security agencies.

He added that orphanages, widows, youth groups, women groups, community leaders, religious leaders and other individuals in need would be supported.

The statement reads, "TAN, in addition will open opportunities for Nigerians to sign up and recruit peace and unity volunteers in support of Goodluck Jonathan and Architect Namadi Sambo.

"TAN strongly believes that the sustained achievements of President Jonathan and the continuity of his administration are essential to guarantee peace, unity and progressive development of Nigeria."

The group urged every individual to partner in the scheme to supporting the less privileges.
